Canoldydd Weddi Midday Prayer

Gweddi Trothwy
(BB i gyd)

Yn enw’r Tad a’r Mab a’r Ysbryd Glân.

Amen

Cyn distawrwydd

Wrth i ni baratoi i groesi'r trothwy,

gan fynd i mewn i dawelwch

Gad i ni fynd i mewn i hanfod y lle hwn

Fel y morloi sy'n gorffwys ar y creigiau - heb frys ac yn sylwgar.

Ar ffyrdd gwyntog..

Meddalu ein traed ar lwybrau glaswelltog. Gad i ni droedio yn ofalus am fregusrwydd a harddwch y lle gwyllt hwn.

Cerddwn ar dir sanctaidd

Ymynwn ni hefyd, fel rhan

o amser sanctaidd

Y ddaear hon.

Cerddwn ymhlith creigiau wedi'u siapio

gan wynt a thonnau,

a waliau cerrig wedi'u gosod

gan ddwylo amyneddgar.

Gweddïau wedi'u gosod

garreg wrth garreg.

yn dal i gadw’r lle.

Helpa ni i ryddhau'r diangen.

Gad i'r distawrwydd fod

yn ddwfn ac nid yn wag -

fel y môr y tu draw i'r lan.

Dal ni - yma

Yn ffydd dawel y ddaear,

lle roedd seintiau yn gwrando'n

fwy nag yr oeddent yn siarad, ac yn ymddiried ynoch i gyfarfod â nhw

yn nyfnderoedd tawelwch.

Rydym yn ymdawelu ein lleisiau.

Rydym yn agor ein calonnau.

Wrth i ni gamu i mewn i'r llonyddwch –

bydd yma i'n cyfarch.

Yn enw’r Tad a’r Mab a’r Ysbryd Glân.

Amen

Threshold Prayer
(all BB)

In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Amen

Before silence

As we prepare to cross the threshold, entering into silence

Let us enter the pace of this place

Like the seals resting on the rocks—

unhurried and observant.

On windswept ways..

Soften our footsteps on grassy paths

Let us tread with cautious care for fragility and beauty of this wild place.

We tread on holy ground

We too become part

of the sacred time

of this earth.

Walking amongst rocks shaped

by wind and wave,

and stone walls laid

by patient hands.

Prayers set

stone by stone

still holding the space.

Help us release the unnecessary.

Let the silence be                                                                     not empty, but deep—

like the sea beyond the shore.

Hold us - here

in the quiet faith of the earth,

where saints listened

more than they spoke,

and trusted you to meet them in the depths of silence.

Now we lay down our voices.

We open our hearts.

As we enter the stillness –

be here to greet us.

In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Amen
